Hand made Unique Crystal Candles made from soy wax, artfully decorated with crystals, indigenous  plants and rose petals, scented with essential natural oils offer space for mindfulness and meditation. Cheryl Cocroft writes character driven, contemporary fiction. Her first novel, “Spokane Words” launched the series “Twisted Tales from Luna's Attic.”

Subsequent books in the series track her edgy characters from Northwest to Southwest USA as they face odd encounters and negotiate strange situations.

In “Spokane Words” we meet Kaleb Hausser the creator of indie rock band Torment Loves Company - TLC, and Raychelle Carter, an introspective young woman. “Twice Dead” reveals Raychelle's unusual past and in “Weeping Creek” the runaways discover this quaint little town on the edge of nowhere has plenty to hide. “Bone Child” reveals more buried secrets, and “Monsoon Love,” a work in progress, will conclude the series… for now.

Cheryl, originally from Altrincham, England, left behind a finance career in London and moved to Cave Creek, Arizona in 2011. Inspired by her new environment, she began writing contemporary fiction and published her first book in 2017.

Anna Dalhaimer Bartkowski has been chasing stories since childhood—first as a wide-eyed kid who noticed she had fewer grandparents than her friends, and later as a passionate genealogist determined to uncover the voices of those who came before her. That early curiosity grew into a lifelong adventure of piecing together family mysteries, connecting the past to the present, and sharing the magic of history through her writing.

Armed with a Journalism/Marketing degree from Marquette University, Anna began her career in newspaper advertising. But after moving to sunny Arizona, her fascination with family history came roaring back. What began as research soon became a calling—leading her to publish six books, contribute to multiple anthologies, and inspire readers to discover and preserve their own ancestral stories.

Her German roots run deep: on her father’s side, to the Russian villages of Mariental and Louis; on her mother’s, to Reinwald, Rosenfeld am Nachoi, and Balzer, with many lines tracing back to their Germanic origins as early as 1699. When she’s not researching or writing, you’ll likely find her enjoying a plate of grebel (fried dough) and celebrating gemütlichkeit—the cozy joy of heritage and community.

  Raised on a family farm in Michigan, Charlotte Whitney is the author of historical fiction set in the rural Midwest. A Tiny Piece of Blue, (She Writes Press, February 2025 ), which has won six major awards, follows a homeless teenager during the Great Depression as she struggles to survive. The Unveiling of Polly Forrest, a historical mystery received three writing awards and was preceded by Threads A Depression-Era Tale, which also was met with much critical acclaim. In addition, she has authored I Dream in White, a contemporary romance, How to Win at Upwords, a nonfiction book about her favorite word game, and a self-help book, Win- Win Negotiations for Couples. She received a master’s degree in English and served as associate director of the Lloyd Scholars for Writing and the Arts at the University of Michigan.
